Geocent, LLC (Geocent) announced a Small Business Administration (SBA)-approved Mentor-Protégé Agreement today with Allied Mountain, LLC (Allied Mountain). The two companies’ commitment to a formal mentoring relationship will create a new entity, Allied Ascent, LLC (Allied Ascent), to expand business development opportunities for both and enhance the range of IT and engineering capabilities they can offer federal agencies.
Allied Mountain is an engineering and tech firm with significant experience in the defense industry, particularly with space technology. Allied Mountain’s key capabilities — DoD space systems and technologies, missile warning and defense, high altitude/stratospheric systems and technologies, and IT/cyber — will boost Geocent’s own experience in those arenas.
Geocent is a sought-after company with more than 20 years of experience in the federal IT and complex engineering space. It will provide leadership, guidance, and support of Allied Mountain in all phases of this agreement, including business development, capability growth, and technical know-how.
