March 4, 2019 (Metairie, La)—Geocent was awarded the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Risk and Fraud DevSecOps Services (RFDS) Contract for the Office of Information Technology (OIT) on a commercial Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) basis.  The value of this award is $73.4M for a period of up to three (3) years. Work will primarily be performed in Geocent’s Virginia office, but a substantial portion of it may be performed in Geocent’s Louisiana offices.  This award builds upon Geocent’s past two (2) years as the incumbent prime contractor for USCIS’ JETS Risk and Fraud Contract.

Under the RFDS contract, Geocent will perform high-quality software development services on USCIS IT systems in USCIS Federal Cloud Data Centers to operate and modernize complex, legacy, large-scale, internally facing fraud detection and case management systems. The Company will also build complex, highly sensitive new capabilities into new and existing systems. Geocent’s DevSecOps teams possess “full stack” expertise and will be fully responsible for the development, operations and maintenance, security, and testing of the defined set of capabilities for USCIS.

“This is the largest single award contract in Geocent’s history. Our past performance has been affirmed and this win allows us to continue our partnership with USCIS Risk & Fraud, providing ongoing support and state-of-the-art technologies and capabilities to this program”, said Wayne “Ridge” Bourgeois, Geocent’s Senior Vice President of the Mission Solutions & Services Division.

The RFDS program will be comprised of seven (7) Scrum teams in the base year with the option to staff up to ten (10) teams in the second and third years of execution. While the primary place of performance will be in the Washington, D.C. area at Geocent’s Tyson’s office in McLean, VA, planned execution will also occur across other Geocent offices nationally.
