We’re thrilled to officially announce that we recently hired Imogen Thomas, longtime member of the GovCon community, to be our new Director of Capture Management.
Most recently, Imogen worked with REI systems, where she helped redesign the growth lifecycle and drove significant growth at DHS and elsewhere in the Federal civilian market. In addition to her 20 years of experience helping large, mid-tier, and small businesses realize over $3 billion in contract awards, she is a serial entrepreneur with two successful start-ups. Her growth focus in the government space is built on an education in organizational conflict management and Agile development methodologies.
Imogen carries clout in our arena, and we’re excited to have her on our side, particularly with DHS. To state it plainly, Imogen represents where we are on our journey from small business to mid-size government contractor: ready to scale up and disrupt.
“Imogen is a huge get for us,” Geocent CEO Bobby Savoie said. “She has a wealth of institutional knowledge in this industry — how it’s changed over the years and, more importantly, where it’s going in the future. We’re lucky to have her on board.”
We know the smart minds we have in this company and the incredible innovations we’re producing on a yearly basis — things like Apios, our RFDS work, MCBOSS, and other important work we’re eyeing in the future. Imogen can help us put those innovations in front of more customers, more often.
Imogen sits in the DC area with her spouse and two puppies. The whole family, including her 20-year-old son, are avid hockey fans and go to as many Caps games as they can. She is an avid supporter of her community, volunteering with ACT/IAC, the Homeland Security Defense Business Council, the BHT Foundation, DC’s Ward One Mutual Aid Network, RESOLVE, and GLAAD. We can’t wait to see how she helps us grow.
