[Categories](https://blog.sev1tech.com) **[Corporate](https://blog.sev1tech.com/tag/corporate)** # Health and Human Services awards Task Order to Sev1Tech for Cloud Management **November 10 2021** *Sev1Tech to manage the cloud-environment for the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs.* **WOODBRIDGE, Va., November 10, 2021** **–** Sev1Tech, a leading provider of dynamic mission-support services and solutions, today announced it has been awarded a task order to manage the cloud environment for the Department of Health and Human Services (HSS) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, Digital Communications Division (ASPA Digital). This contract has one base and four option years. Sev1Tech’s managed application hosting services will include the management of ASPA Digital’s application servers, storage, databases and web services. The collaborative applications hosted on multiple platforms provide a stable, reliable, and secure virtual compute environment. “Sev1Tech has been supporting HHS’s critical enterprise systems for more than 11 years. Utilizing our secure cloud services platform through this contract, HHS will be able to advance and bolster its mission to modernize ASPA systems and deliver operational excellence,” said Chris Jensen, Associate Vice President for Federal Health IT and Civilian Operations Lead. Leveraging a managed cloud platform built on AWS, Sev1Tech will maintain, modernize, and secure a large cloud-based infrastructure, platform and application environment enabling ASPA Digital to manage its extensive online presence. This infrastructure will deliver the capability for immediate, impactful digital communications to the public and HHS employees. Sev1Tech’s Cloud-based Managed Application Hosting Center platform will support multiple important websites and systems, including HHS.gov, FoodSafety.gov, StopBullying.gov, BeTobaccoFree.gov, and the HHS Intranet.
