Sev1Tech has been providing Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Technology (C4&IT) systems support to the U.S. Coast Guard since 2012. “As the USCG recapitalizes its assets, Sev1Tech’s expertise in providing technical systems acquisition support helps enable effective and interoperable C4&IT capabilities for the USCG,” said Bob Lohfeld, CEO of Sev1Tech. “We are excited to continue our critical support for current and future USCG surface and aviation assets to ensure the USCG is ready to address the Nation’s complex maritime challenges. This award further extends our technology partnership with the USCG, integrating next-generation systems to provide C4&IT capabilities that will enable mission success and revolutionize the way the USCG conducts operations in the future.” As the only branch of the Armed Forces within the Department of Homeland Security, the Coast Guard applies military, regulatory, incident management, and law enforcement expertise to ensure safety, security, stewardship, and resiliency across the Homeland Security enterprise. C4ITSC BOD-TAB serves as the Technical Authority for all C4&IT components and is responsible for coordinating acquisition of C4&IT equipment, electronics, and systems for USCG surface, air, and shore assets. To ensure the readiness of the USCG to meet the Nation’s needs, Sev1Tech will provide the USCG and C4ITSC BOD-TAB with technical systems acquisition support to acquire, integrate and implement emerging C4&IT technologies.
