Woodbridge, VA – Sev1Tech, Inc. has been awarded a Task Order to deliver Content Delivery Network (CDN) and Cloud Services and Support to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), and Office of the Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO), under the existing Next Generation IT Services (NGITS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).
HHS selected Sev1Tech to support the Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs (ASPA) and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Operating Divisions. These offices currently manage over 25 public facing websites, including the agency’s signature website HHS.gov as well as seven other high priority dot-gov sites. To ensure high availability and unparalleled performance, ASPA and AHRQ will leverage Sev1Tech’s Cloud Delivery Network and Cloud Services so that content can be delivered to end users in a secure and efficient manner. This includes multi-platform live and on-demand streaming services in HD format. To support this task order, Sev1Tech has partnered with Akamai to lead the provisioning, engineering, operations, and administration of a globally distributed CDN.
