Woodbridge, VA – Sev1Tech, Inc. has donated $5,000 to the Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) SERVE Campus as a result of Sev1Tech’s first FUNraiser event.
Sev1Tech has created FUNraiser events to put the fun back in fundraising by hosting corporate events for its employees to attend. Based on employee attendance and participation, the company will donate funds to various nonprofit organizations. These events not only give back to those in need, but also provides employees with a fun social outing.
Sev1Tech’s first FUNraiser was a country western “Boot Scoot” event which included two-step dance lessons, karaoke, food, and drinks. Bob Lohfeld, CEO of Sev1Tech, donated $200 for every employee and guest that attended the event resulting in a $5,000 donation to the NVFS SERVE Campus.
The NVFS SERVE Campus program helps families and individuals get back on their feet by providing food, shelter, and resources that prepare them for future success. Families and individuals receive access to housing assistance, meals, education programs, youth services, and medical/dental care.
“These FUNraiser events are a great way to connect our corporate culture with our core values” says Bob Lohfeld. “We are strongly committed to creating a positive impact on our society. These events provide a fun opportunity for employees to meet outside of work, while also helping those in our community.”
