Woodbridge, VA – Sev1Tech, a leader in providing information technology, cybersecurity, cloud, and program management support services, today announced it has been recognized by the Government Technology & Services Coalition (GTSC) as their 2018 Mid-Tier Company of the Year. This award recognizes Sev1Tech’s commitment to delivering innovative IT solutions, strengthening public-private partnerships, and supporting those who serve the missions of homeland and national security – leading to increased opportunities, understanding, and growth of mid-tier companies in the federal market.

“We recognize the key role that GTSC plays in bringing government and industry together, improving acquisitions and ensuring successful mission delivery,” said Bob Lohfeld, Sev1Tech President and CEO. “Through organizations like GTSC, we have become more engaged with better understanding the evolving and expanding needs of our homeland customers across DHS. This award represents our commitment to engaging in the industry dialog and spreading awareness about how the mid-tier companies provide unique value to DHS.”

Sev1Tech has been a member of GTSC since 2017, actively supporting GTSC’s programs and promoting its work through introductions of new government partners, spreading the efforts of GTSC in the contracting community, and insightful thought leadership. Mr. Lohfeld has received universal accolades for his participation on behalf of GTSC at Reverse Industry Days and for his leadership role in GTSC’s Lion’s Den, where a distinguished group of mid-sized company CEOs come together to leverage their strengths and experiences to promote the needs and opportunities for mid-tier companies in the contracting industry.

“Despite the heated politics, we gather to recognize that across America we come together. WE come together to build emergency operations centers in our communities. WE respond to volcanic eruptions. WE respond to devastating floods and hurricanes. WE fight intense wildfires and help to house those who lost everything. WE work to counter our enemies within, and our enemies abroad. WE as a nation, as communities, are in this together,” said Kristina Tanasichuk. “HSToday hosts the awards to thank these heroes for what they do for our nation, because in the end, it is WE who will prevail against the challenges before us.”

Sev1Tech will be presented with the Mid-Tier Company of the Year Award on Tuesday, December 11, at GTSC’s Annual Holiday Awards ceremony and reception, held at the Arlington Arts Center in Arlington, Virginia.
