As noted in the award ceremony held on April 21st, 2016, Sev1Tech was chosen for this award for its exemplary work with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) supporting electronics and information technology systems acquisitions and sustainment. The annual DHS Small Business Achievement awards–now in their 12th year–recognize small businesses for outstanding and noteworthy work in support of DHS missions. DHS nominated Sev1Tech as one of only 16 companies across the United States that have provided mission-critical support in order to foster a homeland that is safe, secure, and resilient against terrorism and threats.
