[Categories](https://blog.sev1tech.com) **[News](https://blog.sev1tech.com/tag/news)** # Sev1Tech Wins $38M Health and Human Services Contract to Provide Next Generation IT Services Application Hosting **October 5 2017** **October 5, 2017** **Woodbridge, VA – **Sev1Tech, Inc., a leader in providing IT, engineering, and program management services to government and commercial clients, announced today that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of Information Technology Infrastructure and Operations (ITIO) has chosen Sev1Tech as the awardee of the Next Generation IT Services (NGITS) Application Hosting contract, cumulatively worth $38M. This award was the first task order to be issued on the HHS Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for NGITS Application Hosting services. The HHS OCIO supports the HHS mission by leading the development and implementation of an enterprise information technology (IT) infrastructure across HHS. The ITIO is responsible for providing a reliable, cost-effective, scalable, secure, and flexible enterprise computing platform that supports and enhances customer IT needs and capabilities from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and implementation. The ITIO selected Sev1Tech to support management efforts, application hosting requirements, integrated process management, service management and support, facility and environmental support, and application migration activities. Our team will be responsible for the full provisioning, engineering, operations and administration of current and emerging application hosting services. These services include data center environmental services; application migration builds, installation, and configuration; base server administration activities; managed security services; 24x7x365 monitoring of hardware, incidents, outages, and issues; migration of hardware and software to different facilities; administration of accounts, media services, and domain access; full-service patch management; full development and testing of production environments; and project management implementation. “Sev1Tech is beyond excited to be working with a new agency and to showcase our unique capabilities to HHS,” said Bob Lohfeld, Jr., CEO of Sev1Tech. “We know that application hosting services are critical to ITIO’s day to day operations, and we are honored to have been selected as Prime to support such a large program.
