Sev1Tech will implement new technological improvements and cost saving approaches for the Enterprise Integration Office (EIO) by introducing greater use of cloud-based technology in information management, implementing quality program improvements, and modernizing existing and future systems. Under the contract, Sev1Tech will directly support the upgrades and activities of the 21st Space Wing Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR), Long-Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR), Ground-based Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance (GEODSS), and Space Surveillance Telescope (SST), as well as many other key systems and operations. These upgrades to missile warning, missile defense and space situational awareness systems, ensures mission availability through the integration of new technologies and enhanced security measures. “With over five years of past performance and experience with the U.S. Air Force, we have demonstrated our expertise in integrating innovative technologies that improve mission performance, systems maintenance, and operational readiness in an efficient and cost-effective manner,” said Sev1Tech founder, president and CEO Bob Lohfeld. “We are excited to add new work with the 21st Space Wing to our growing Air Force portfolio and are confident we will continue to provide exceptional service to AFSPC.” The mission of the 21st Space Wing is to execute global capabilities to defend the homeland and secure space for our nation and its allies. The U.S. and its allies rely on the 21st Space Wing mission systems and capabilities to continue safeguarding from adversaries and space threats around the world. The Air Force designed these sites and systems primarily to detect and track missiles while also conducting general space surveillance and satellite tracking.
